American Plumbing Company has been serving East Texas since 1986, having been founded by Master Plumber, Milton Vanderpool of Tyler as Vanderpool Plumbing Company. Presently, American Plumbing has a complete staff of plumbing technicians available to provide quick response to your needs. American Plumbing specializes in plumbing repairs and remodeling services, and is competent in both commercial and residential arenas. Out of a commitment to save you time and money, a significant inventory of parts and equipment is kept on company trucks with more in the company warehouse. Milton, Master Plumber & Company President
Milton grew up in Tyler and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He worked his way through college as a Plumber's Apprentice in the Austin and San Antonio area. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, he returned to Tyler, and continued to work part-time in the trade while teaching full-time at Grace Community School. Upon receipt of his Master Plumber's license, he began Vanderpool Plumbing as a Sole Proprietor. In January 1995 he incorporated as American Plumbing Company, Inc. |

Dave, General Manager
Dave graduated from Wills Point High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University. After serving four years in the U. S. Marine Corps, he began a well traveled career in business operations, administration, and management, earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University in New Orleans along the way. In 2002, Dave sensed God's leadership in relocating to Tyler and affiliating with a Christ-centered small business that could benefit from his skills and experience. He met Milton in 2003, and has been the chief "bean counter" at American Plumbing Company for nine years. |

Lori, Customer Service & Accounting
Lori graduated from Mexia High School and came to Tyler to attend the University of Texas at Tyler, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She worked in public accounting for several years in the Tyler area, but felt God was calling her to a career change to industry accounting. She has been with American Plumbing Company for eight years, and is known in-house as the "plumberette."

Brad, Customer Service & Dispatch
Brad has lived in Tyler all of his life, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1995. He went on to Tyler Junior College for 2 years and later transferred to University of Texas at Tyler, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2001. Brad's professional background has been in the construction and repair service industry, including 15 years in customer service. He is happy to help with any problem that arises. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Keith, Master Plumber
Keith graduated from Mabank High School in 1986. After working for Service Merchandise for ten years, he decided to follow his father as a plumber. He began his plumbing career in 1999 with a company in the Dallas area, receiving his Masters license in2006. He was self-employed in the Eustace area for two years, before coming to American Plumbing in February 2011. In addition to deer hunting, he enjoys spending time with his family. |

Ricardo, Journeyman Plumber
Ricardo has been working in the plumbing trade for 37 years, and has worked for American Plumbing Company since 1995. He is the longest tenured associate in the company.

Daniel, Journeyman Plumber
Dan graduated from Frankston High School, and after serving six years in the U. S. Army, began his career in the plumbing trade in Kansas in 2000. He returned to East Texas in 2002, and has been at American Plumbing Company for ten years. |

Ryan, Journeyman Plumber
Ryan grew up in the Brownsboro area, and after receiving a home school diploma began a career in the plumbing trade. He has worked in the plumbing trade for twelve years, and has been with American Plumbing Company for nine years.

J. R., Journeyman Plumber & Certified Backflow Tester
J.R. was born in Tyler, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1983. He attended the University of Mississippi, and the University of Findlay in Ohio, before returning to Tyler. He is a third generation plumber and has worked in the plumbing industry since 1983. He came to American Plumbing in 2010. |

Danny was born in Tyler and raised in Lindale. He graduated from Lindale High School. He has five years experience in the plumbing industry, and has been with American Plumbing for 4 years.

Troey, Tradesman Plumber
Troey was born in Tyler, but spent several years in Arkansas growing up. He returned to his roots as a young adult in 2000, beginning his career in utility location, maintenance and repair. He started plumbing in 2009, and has been with American Plumbing since 2011.
He enjoys long walks on the beach, and naps on Sunday afternoon (after church, of course). He likes to think he is our favorite plumber in the world! |

Tim, Plumber's Apprentice
Tim was born in Russellville, Arkansas. His family moved to East Texas when he was three, and currently lives in Bullard. Tim is blessed to be from a wonderful family with seven other siblings. He is the fourth child, with two older sisters, and a younger brother and two sisters. They have all been homeschooled! |

Nick, Plumber's Apprentice
Nick was born in Rowlett, Texas, and graduated from Greenville High School in 2007. He relocated to Tyler in 2011 to be near his fiance, now his wife. He began his plumbing career here at American Plumbing in July 2011. |

Chris, Plumber's Apprentice
Chris was born in Tyler, but raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He returned to East Texas after high school, and was self-employed for ten years in the construction industry, primarily doing remodeling work. After five years at the Target Distribution Center, he chose to pursue a career as a plumber, beginning here at American Plumbing in August 2011.
He loves life, God, his family, and his work.
